Operatives of the Kogi State Police Command have rescued two women who were abducted nearly a month ago from the Irewagere Fulani Camp in Adavi Local Government Area.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama, in a post on X on Monday, disclosed that the victims, identified as Safara Yakubu and Habibat Aminu, both 25, were seized on November 3, 2025, at about 11:00 p.m.

He said the Divisional Police Officer of Osara acted on credible intelligence and led a tactical team into the Osara–Oshokoshoko Obajana Forest, where the victims were found and freed on Sunday around 2:00 p.m.

The rescued women have since been taken to a medical facility for treatment, while police authorities intensify investigations to unmask those behind the abduction
