The All Progressives Congress has denied a report circulating in the media that purportedly outlined the cost of its expression of interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The controversial report, which gained traction on Friday, claimed that aspirants for the presidency would be charged N200 million, while those contesting state assembly seats would pay N20 million.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, dismissed the claims, saying the information did not come from the APC.

He noted that the party had observed the circulation of what he described as a misleading and unfounded publication regarding a supposed pricing structure for the 2027 polls.

According to him, the APC had not taken any position on the sale or cost of nomination forms for the upcoming elections.

Morka emphasised that no official communication had been released by the party on the matter, contrary to the claims in the viral material.

He described the report as baseless and a product of falsehood.

The APC, therefore, urged party faithful, journalists, and the general public to disregard the information, maintaining that it was not authentic.
