The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18.

This was contained in a statement issued on Sunday by the Board’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin.

According to the statement, a total of 1,264,940 results from the two examination days have been made available for candidates to access.

“The results of candidates who sat for the examination on Friday, 17 April, and Saturday, 18 April 2026, have been released. A total of 1,264,940 results from these two days are now available for viewing,” the statement read.

JAMB recalled that it had earlier released results of candidates who participated in the examination on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

It said the earlier release covered 632,752 candidates, bringing the total number of results so far released to 1,897,692.

“The Board had earlier released 632,752 results of candidates who sat the examination on Thursday, 16 April 2026. This brings the cumulative total released so far to 1,897,692,” it added.

The examination body advised candidates to check their results using the official SMS platform.

“To access their results, candidates should send UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number (SIM) used for registration,” the statement said.

JAMB noted that the released results cover the first three days of the ongoing nationwide UTME exercise.
