Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, on Sunday declared what he described as imminent divine judgment against terrorists and their sponsors, saying retribution would come within the next seven days.
The cleric made the declaration during a church service themed “Covenant Day of Vengeance” at the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.
Addressing the congregation, Oyedepo said those behind killings and kidnappings across the country would face divine intervention if his mandate as a servant of God remained valid.
“Except I am not sent, within the next seven days, there shall be judgment upon those responsible for these calamities and those backing them,” he said.
He added that the coming days would usher in what he termed “testimonies of vengeance,” expressing confidence in what he described as imminent divine intervention in the nation’s security challenges.
Speaking further, the cleric charged worshippers to embrace a life of holiness, warning against spiritual complacency.
According to him, ungodliness hinders access to divine blessings and exposes individuals to shame, stressing that sanctification remains central to fulfilling destiny.
He also noted that without righteous living, believers risk missing eternal rewards, which he described as the ultimate goal of the Christian faith.
Oyedepo maintained that until divine justice takes its course, acts of wickedness may persist, underscoring the need for spiritual uprightness among believers.
The cleric’s remarks come amid growing concerns over insecurity across parts of the country.
