The Senator representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Pastor (Dr.) Olajide Ipinsagaba, has congratulated Mr. Taiwo Oyedele on his elevation from Minister of State for Finance to Minister of Finance by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ipinsagaba, in a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday, described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Oyedele’s promotion reflects his competence and dedication to national service.
The lawmaker, who commended the President for the decision, said the elevation of the Ondo State indigene was a testament to his proven expertise in economic management and fiscal policy.
He added that Oyedele’s rise within the finance ministry underscores the confidence reposed in him by the administration to steer the nation’s economy towards stability and growth.
“Mr. Taiwo Oyedele’s swift elevation is a clear indication of his outstanding performance, professionalism, and deep understanding of Nigeria’s financial system,” Ipinsagaba said.
“It is also a proud moment for Ondo State, as one of our own continues to distinguish himself at the highest level of governance through hard work and competence,” he added.
Ipinsagaba expressed optimism that the new Finance Minister would bring innovative ideas and reforms capable of strengthening the country’s economic framework and further improving the living standards of Nigerians.
