Popular Nollywood couple, Lateef Adedimeji and Adebimpe Oyebade, have dismissed viral Artificial Intelligence-generated baby photos being circulated online following the announcement of the birth of their triplet sons.
The actress, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, appealed to bloggers, fans and well-wishers to stop sharing the edited images, stressing that the pictures do not belong to their newborns.
In a message shared via her Instagram story on Friday, she appreciated supporters for celebrating with the family but clarified that the couple had yet to release the babies’ real photographs.
She wrote that while they were grateful for the outpouring of love, the AI-generated pictures making rounds online were not authentic and urged the public to refrain from circulating them.
Her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, also reacted in a separate post on X, formerly Twitter, where he thanked fans for their prayers and support since the announcement of the birth of the children.
The actor further clarified that the baby pictures currently trending on social media were artificially generated and not images of their triplets.
The clarification comes days after social media was flooded with edited baby photos shortly after the couple announced the arrival of their sons.
Lateef had earlier revealed the birth of the triplets in an emotional Instagram post, where he described the children as one of the greatest blessings of his life.
According to him, his temporary silence on social media was due to the need to protect and cherish the special moment with his family, adding that God had blessed him with “three kings” to call his own.
