Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Eliana.
The excited mother announced the arrival of the newborn in an Instagram post on Wednesday, revealing that the child was born on May 2, 2026.
Sharing photos of the baby and family moments, the celebrity designer wrote, “She’s here. #elianaatere. 02-May-26. Eliana Adeife Atere.”
Veekee James also explained the inspiration behind the baby’s name, stating that “El” means God, while “Ana” means He has answered.
According to her, the name signifies, “My God has answered.”
Quoting from the Bible, she referenced 1 Samuel 1:27, which reads, “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.”
