The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will now commence on April 24, a day earlier than the previously scheduled April 25.

JAMB’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, made this known in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja.

He explained that the date was adjusted to accommodate key commitments involving the board and its partner agencies.

Candidates are now able to print their examination notification slips, which include important details such as exam date, venue, time, and other relevant information.

“Candidates are encouraged to begin printing their notification slips from today, April 19, to give them enough time to make necessary arrangements to reach their assigned centres,” Mr. Benjamin said.

He advised candidates to visit www.jamb.gov.ng, select “2025 UTME Slip Printing,” enter their registration number, and click “Print Examination Slip.”

He further urged candidates to visit their exam centres at least one or two days before the test to avoid any last-minute issues. According to him, all candidates will be assigned to centres within their chosen examination towns, and no one will be posted outside their selected location.
