Okitipupa City Boy Movement holds strategic meeting with Ward coordinators

The City Boy Movement, Okitipupa Local Government, successfully held a strategic meeting with the newly appointed Ward Coordinators across the thirteen (13) wards in the local government area. The meeting was convened to foster unity, strengthen coordination, and align grassroots mobilization efforts within the movement.

Delivering the welcome address, the Local Government Coordinator warmly received the ward coordinators, congratulating them on their appointments and charging them to serve as worthy ambassadors of the movement. He emphasized discipline, commitment, and effective representation, while urging them to intensify grassroots mobilization as a key driver for the movement’s success.

A major highlight of the meeting was the formal inauguration of the thirteen (13) Ward Coordinators. The LG Coordinator expressed confidence in their abilities and advised them to approach their responsibilities with dedication and seriousness. He further stressed the importance of building strong ward executive structures composed of individuals with integrity, capacity, and proven character, in line with the movement’s vision of raising leaders for today and the future.

In his remarks, the Youth Leader, Comrade Olarewaju Ayodeji, called for sustained collaboration between the Local Government executives and the ward coordinators. He noted that unity and teamwork remain vital to strengthening the movement and achieving its set objectives.

Also speaking, the General Secretary, Akogun Olarinde Williams, reminded the coordinators of the responsibility placed upon them, noting that their selection was based on their political credibility and antecedents. He encouraged them to justify the confidence reposed in them through diligence, unity, and active participation.

On behalf of the Ward Coordinators, Comrade Ogbontan of Okitipupa Ward 2 expressed appreciation to both the State and Local Government leadership for the opportunity to serve. He assured the leadership of their unwavering commitment to the growth and progress of the movement.

In his closing remarks, the LG Coordinator appreciated all executives and ward coordinators for their attendance and active participation. He reiterated the need for continued unity, focus, and dedication towards achieving the collective goals of the movement.

The meeting marks a significant step in strengthening the structure of the City Boy Movement in Okitipupa Local Government and reinforces its commitment to effective grassroots engagement and leadership development.
