A Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) officer has been killed following an attack by suspected Lakurawa terrorists on a Customs checkpoint in Maje, Bagudo Local Government Area of Kebbi State. A suspected motorcycle thief was on Sunday morning lynched and set ablaze by an angry mob in Abagu area of Gboko Local Government, Benue State. The Ondo State Government has announced plans to plant 10 million trees across its forest reserves as part of efforts to restore degraded lands and promote sustainable forestry management. Commissioner for Agriculture and Forestry, Mr. Olaleye Akinola, disclosed this at a news conference on Friday in Akure, the state capital.
