The anti-graft agency, in a statement on its official X handle on Friday, said the money was presented to the victim via a bank draft at the Kaduna Zonal Directorate on Thursday. The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has rescued no fewer than 221 victims of human trafficking in Jigawa State within two years. State Commander of the agency, Abdulladir Turajo, disclosed this yesterday during a one-day sensitisation campaign against human trafficking held in Kazaure. Turajo said the victims were rescued and reunited with their families following the establishment of the state command in July 2023.
