The Kano Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) said it has intercepted 230,600 tablets of Tramadol and arrested 106 suspects in the state. Its commander, Abubakar Idris-Ahmad, told journalists on Saturday in Kano that the command seized the drugs between June 10 and 13 along Zaria-Kano road. “The operations, mandated by the chairman/chief executive officer of the agency, retired Brig.-Gen. Mohammed Buba-Marwa, in curbing the menace of drug abuse in Nigeria, resulted in the arrest,” Mr Idris-Ahmad said.
