The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has sanctioned 52 commercial vehicles for operating illegal motor parks and parking around the Obalende and Iyana-Oworonshoki areas. This was announced in a statement signed by Taofiq Adebayo, LASTMA spokesman, on Friday. According to the statement, this is part of an effort to ensure smooth traffic flow across Lagos. He said the 52 vehicle owners would be prosecuted at the mobile court for traffic offences.
