The Kebbi Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced the death of another pilgrim in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. A statement by Ahmed Idris, chief press secretary to the Kebbi governor, identified the deceased as Abubakar Abdullahi from Gulma town in Argungu Local Government Area. The statement said that the pilgrim died after a brief illness. Mr Abdullahi is the third Kebbi pilgrim to die in Mecca. A Federal Capital Territory High Court in Apo has sentenced an Immigration officer, Quadri Adeyinka to seven years over passport fraud.
