Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have abducted scores of travellers along the Maiduguri-Kano highway. According to Daily Trust, the insurgents abducted the passengers on Monday evening between Garin Kuturu and Mannanari village near Auno along the Damaturu highway. Two soldiers have been hospitalised after bandits operating in Tegina, Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State shot and wounded them at their military base.
