The management of the University of Benin, Edo State, has suspended the students’ union government of the institution indefinitely. Police in Lagos said they have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the chairman of Victoria Garden City in the Lekki-Ajah area of the state, Gihan Mbelu. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. has assured Nigerians that the ongoing fuel scarcity and queues will be over by Wednesday, May 1. Chief Communications Officer, NNPCL, told Olufemi Soneye, said this on Tuesday in Lagos.
