The Police Command in Jigawa has arrested 11 suspects for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl. The Spokesman of the command, SP Abdu Jinjiri, confirmed the arrest to newsmen, on Sunday, in Dutse. At least 30 persons in Ondo State have been arraigned before a mobile court sitting in Akure, the state capital, for contravening the dusk-to-dawn curfew order of the state government to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The Management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), has decried the news of the rape and subsequent murder of one of its students, Miss Vera Omozuwa. The victim was a 100 level Microbiology student of the institution before her travail.
