Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved a cabinet reshuffle involving the redeployment of several commissioners across key ministries.

The changes were announced in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, and released on Monday.

Under the new arrangement, Barr. Seun Ashamu, formerly the Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources.

Hon. Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola, who previously held that position, will now head the Ministry of Public Works, Infrastructure and Transport.

Professor Dahud Shangodoyin, the outgoing Commissioner for Public Works, will take over as Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources.

In a similar move, Professor Solihu Adelabu, previously in charge of Education, Science and Technology, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Establishments and Training.

His role will now be filled by Hon. Segun Olayiwola, the former Commissioner for Establishments.

The reshuffle takes immediate effect.

Governor Makinde urged the affected commissioners to continue serving the state with dedication and loyalty.
