Among the appointments immediate past Senator of Ekiti North senatorial district, Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi from Ekiti State was named Chairman of the SWDC, while Charles Akinola from Osun State was appointed Managing Director.

Other members of the board include Adewinle Martins, Bolaji Ariyo, Joseph Olugbenga, Scholastica Omoworare, Olumuyiwa Olabimtan, Ibrahim Olaifa, Kabiru Lakwaya, Abdul Adamu, Arinola Fagbemi, Ukoha Onyekwere, Howell Ihenacho, Tele Ogunjobi, Funmilayo Tejuosho, Fatai Ibikunle, and Lateef Ajijola.
