Three siblings have died and one is undergoing treatment following a suspected case of food poisoning in Katsina State.
According to police sources, the victims—Hussaina, Ahmed, and Nana Ayuba—died after consuming a spaghetti meal at their home. They were rushed to Jibia General Hospital but did not survive.
Their 12-year-old sister, Hafsat Ayuba, who also ate the meal, is currently receiving medical care.
Authorities have detained 20-year-old Fatima Abdulkadir, who prepared the food, along with two others, as investigations into the incident continue.
Security personnel have visited the family residence as part of the inquiry. The deceased were buried according to Islamic rites.
