The All Progressives Congress in Ondo State has commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for what it described as impactful leadership in 2025, expressing optimism that the state will witness accelerated development in the new year.
In a New Year message signed by the party’s Director of Media and Publicity, Steve Otaloro, the APC said the governor had within a short period translated governance from promises to visible results across the state.
The party noted that major road projects in Akure and other parts of Ondo had replaced years of neglect, with redesigned junctions, improved intersections and asphalt overlays boosting safety and economic activities.
It also praised the administration for transforming the night-time outlook of the state capital, citing improved street lighting, functional traffic signals and modern road furniture that have enhanced urban life and security.
According to the APC, the governor’s emphasis on durability, value for money and long-term planning has restored public confidence in government and aligned Ondo’s development drive with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The party further highlighted the extension of the Yuletide holiday for workers as evidence of a people-focused leadership that balances productivity with compassion and family wellbeing.
Looking ahead to 2026, the APC expressed confidence that development would gather more momentum as Ondo marks its 50th anniversary, assuring residents that the state is firmly positioned for a more prosperous future under Aiyedatiwa’s leadership.
