Members of the City Boy Movement in Ondo State have held a strategic meeting with the Minister of Youth Development during the South-South edition of the Renewed Hope National Youth Tour.
The delegation was led by the State Director of the movement, Femi Ayejusunle, who described the engagement as a step towards strengthening youth-focused initiatives across the country.
Speaking at the meeting, the minister commended the group for its commitment to grassroots mobilisation and youth engagement.
He urged members of the movement to remain consistent in promoting policies and programmes aimed at empowering young Nigerians.
“The dedication shown by your organisation at the grassroots level is commendable. You must continue to support initiatives that uplift young people,” the minister said.
Ayejusunle, in his remarks, reiterated the group’s commitment to supporting government efforts targeted at youth development and inclusion.
He noted that the movement would continue to mobilise young people in Ondo State towards constructive participation in governance and national development.
Members of the delegation included a lawmaker representing Ilaje Constituency II in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Wumi Obayelu; Director of Special Duties, Oriade Abiodun; Head of Students Directorate, Lemuel Samuel; Akure South Coordinator, Akinlolu Vincent; and Tope Omole, among others.
