The Benue command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency says the agency arrested 251 suspects for various drug-related crimes in 2024. Its commander, Esther Musa, disclosed this in an interview on Wednesday in Makurdi. Ms Musa, while highlighting the achievements of the command from January to December 2024, said that 220 of those suspects were male, while 31 were female. On Tuesday, February 4, the Federal Government announced its plan to begin tolling on the Abuja-Keffi-Akwanga-Makurdi Expressway. The announcement which was made by the Minister of Works, David Umahi while inaugurating the new tolling regime at Garaku Toll Station, Nasarawa State, will range from N500 for saloon cars to N1,600 for multi-axle vehicles.
