Seun Oluwashina Ajongbolo, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senatorial candidate Jide Ipinsagba, and House of Representatives candidate Gboyega Adefarati on their victories in the recently concluded primary elections of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ajongbolo, in a statement made available to journalists, described the outcome of the primaries as a significant moment in the democratic process of the party and a reflection of the collective will of party stakeholders.
While congratulating President Tinubu on emerging victorious, Ajongbolo expressed confidence in the continued advancement of the President’s vision for national development under the Renewed Hope agenda. He stated that the outcome further demonstrates the confidence reposed in the President’s leadership and direction for the country.
The aspirant also extended his congratulations to Senator Jide Ipinsagba on his emergence as the party’s candidate for the Senate, describing him as an experienced political figure whose victory represents another opportunity for quality leadership and representation.
Similarly, he congratulated Hon. Gboyega Adefarati on his emergence as the House of Representatives candidate, noting that the primary process has once again reaffirmed the importance of unity and democratic participation within the party.
“Democracy thrives when we place collective progress above personal interests. Elections may produce winners and others with different outcomes, but the greater victory remains the progress, unity, and future of our people and our party,” Ajongbolo said.
He urged party members, supporters, and stakeholders across Akoko South East and South West Federal Constituency to remain united and continue working together in the interest of the APC and the development of the constituency.
Ajongbolo further reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC and pledged his continued support for the party and its candidates, expressing optimism that unity among party members would strengthen the APC ahead of future political engagements.
Political observers have described Ajongbolo’s message as a move aimed at promoting reconciliation and reinforcing party cohesion following the conclusion of the primary election process.
